I am Latina and proud, born and raised in El Paso, Texas near La Frontera de Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. Being so close to the border, I was raised with my Mexican culture and traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation.
I was also raised speaking English and Spanish at both school and home. I am first generation born from my father’s side, who immigrated from EL DF aka Mexico City. I am second generation born from my mother’s side, who immigrated from Los Sotoles, Zacatecas.
Out of many thing in taking pride of my Hispanic heritage, I honor my family for always staying true to our roots. One thing my grandfather always told me was, “even though you will get to places in life, never forget where you came from.” Familia es mi pasion y sin ella, yo no seria la mujer que soy hoy.
I am passionate about my family and without them I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. I am a Hispanic college graduate with a Business Degree in Marketing & Management and have had a successful career in Logistics for the past 10 years. Being bilingual has opened many doors for me and taught me to embrace my beautiful Spanish language. Somos Latinos y Unidos. Feliz Mes de Herencia Hispana, Mi gente!!
